Few days ago Sipo started to market of Green and Red Cicorino, Artichoke Hearts and Brussels Sprouts produced in Italy began. There are three winter references that stand alongside all the others, but which differ in a series of characteristics.
 
"These are particularly sought-after products - explain the commercial representatives Luca Pollarini and Francesca De Francesco - grown according to precise specifications by our trusted producers. We only use vegetables produced in Italy, no importing".

Artichoke heart

The production areas for Artichokes are in Sardinia in the provinces of Cagliari, Oristano and Sassari. "The artichoke hearts are very popular. The processing takes place directly at the production company, so as to guarantee maximum freshness. Within 36 hours, the product passes from the field to the large-scale distribution counter. The requests sometimes exceed availability. . We believe that Sardinian producers are among the best in Italy for this article. The artichoke hearts are packaged in filmed R-Pet trays ".

Brussels sprouts

"This reference is experiencing strong growth. The production takes place in Italy, in Piedmont, and the large-scale distribution greatly appreciates the national origin compared to the foreign one. We prepare trays of 250-370 grams and we are doing research, together with a seed company, to cultivate new varieties that allow us to extend the production calendar ".

Cicorino grumolo

Cicorino, red and green, is produced in Campania and marketed as a first or fourth range. "The first range comes in two types: loose or in a 250 gram tray. The fourth range, on the other hand, is offered in a 200 gram tray".
